Is It All About Coffee?
So, here I am doing some last minute shopping
when I run into an old friend, I mean literally, ran into him. As I turn
to go down the next isle we ran right into each other.
No one was hurt, just surprised. We were both pleased to see each other
after so many years and decided to take the time to chat. That's something
we don't do any more, you know, take the time. It just isn't a priority
any more, not what I would call progress, moving in the right direction.
Anyway, we did take the time without
hesitation. Guess what the first suggestion was
as we planned our meeting place? "How about a cup of coffee? Good
idea, there's a swell coffee shop here in the store." So we made our way,
picked out our favorite brew and sat down to begin our chat about old times.
It seemed like we were there for a short time and then
realized that an hour and a half went by. What a great unplanned meeting.
So, is it all about the Coffee? Not at
all, but nice things do seem to happen around our favorite beverage. Take
time, stop rushing about, have a cup of java with an old friend. Enjoy
every moment of life. And remember, it's the journey, not the destination
that counts.
