White Tea

White Tea

Fairly new to mainstream America, but enjoyed in China since the Ming dynasty, you may not be
familiar with White Tea. White tea is not tea with milk...it is a completely different form of tea
altogether and the production of white tea is different from any other tea you've had. The leaves
come from special varietals tea bushes and are not processed, but are dried and withered in the sun.

Because they haven't been processed and are so close to their natural state, they carry more
powerful antioxidants such as polly phenols, than any other tea! These polly phenols are known to
kill cancer causing cells, and retard growth bacteria such as staphylococcus, strep, and pneumonia.

China White Pekoe Tea

Origin: Fuji an, China.

White tea is certainly the most delicate of all teas. Using only young tea
leaves, Chinese White Pekoe tea is neither oxidized nor steamed, and it
delivers a brilliant flavor.
White tea is also rich in fluoride and will help prevent dental plaque, the chief cause of tooth decay.
The anti-viral and anti-bacterial effects of white are even greater than the popular Green tea. Milton
Schiffenbauer, PhD, a microbiologist and professor at Pace University made this powerful statement,
"Past studies have shown that green tea stimulates the immune system to fight disease. Our research
shows White Tea Extract can actually destroy in vitro the organisms that cause disease. Study after
study with tea extract proves that it has many healing properties. This is not an old wives tale, it's a
fact."
Chinese white tea is a class unto itself and will exceed your expectations. Our White Pekoe tea
comes from a small 2-acre garden in the Fuji an province of China. It is a mountainous region
with the tea garden approximately 3,500 feet above sea level.
